About the Study: MGB PROTECTS is a 12-month research study to determine the prevalence of antibodies against COVID-19 in Mass General Brigham employees who have have signed a consent form to be in the study and do not have symptoms associated with COVID-19 infection.

During the initial (pilot) portion of the study we will enroll approximately 500 participants prior to launching the full study. The initial portion of the study is intended to be identical to the main study. The reason we are conducting an initial portion of the study is to ensure all systems are in place to successfully identify subjects, and to ensure the usability and quality of testing material when shipped to participants. We will also use this initial portion of the study to ensure that appropriate follow-up systems are in place for participants that have positive antibody tests and to understand how best to return test results to participants.
